Marnie Hunt is from Prescott, AZ and moved to East Mesa in 2003 to attend ASU East. She graduated in 2005 with a BS in Wildlife & Ecological Applied Sciences. After graduating from ASU Marnie was invited to work as an intern for the Environmental Protection Agencies (EPA) Office of Air and Radiation - Tribal Sector in Washington, DC. She was then invited back to the EPA for another internship where she managed the Clean Air Excellence Awards. After her internship in Washington, DC she moved back to Arizona and began working for a telemetry electronics company in Mesa, AZ that manufactures wildlife tracking systems. After several years Marnie decided to make an occupational transition and began working for the East Maricopa Natural Resource Conservation District and their environmental education center, Desert Willow. Marnie is married to her husband Darrel and they have two furry children, Lucy & Natasha.
